#What this policy covers

This policy applies to fixed-scope service packages ordered through this website. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Custom projects, time-and-materials work, retained capacity and support agreements are governed by their own written agreement, and where that agreement deals with cancellation or refunds, it takes precedence over this page.

#How services are delivered

Everything sold on this site is a service. Nothing is shipped: no physical goods are dispatched, so there are no shipping charges and no delivery address is needed.

What you receive, and how it reaches you. Each package page lists its deliverables under "What you receive". Audits, reviews and consultations end in a written report or written summary, delivered in writing to the contact named on your order, by email or through the client portal. Build packages end in working software, handed over in a repository you own together with a written handover of every credential. Support hour blocks and maintenance plans are delivered as ongoing work through the client portal, where you raise requests and see the balance and history.

When work starts. Work is scheduled once the invoice for your order has been settled and we have received everything the package page says we need from you. Where a package includes a scoping call, work starts after that call.

Delivery timeframes. Each package page states its turnaround. "Typically 10 working days" means we expect to deliver within 10 working days of work starting. It is an estimate rather than a guarantee, and if we expect to miss it we will tell you before the date, not after. Packages without a fixed turnaround are delivered as the work is requested, or on an ongoing monthly basis, as their pages state.

#Cancelling before work starts

You may cancel an order within 7 days of placing it, provided work on it has not yet started. Tell us at admin@cheffusiontech.com or support@cheffusiontech.com, quoting your order reference. We will refund the full amount you paid to the original payment method within 10 business days of confirming the cancellation. Refunds are made in the currency you paid in.

Work has started once we have begun producing the deliverables for your package. Where a package requires a scoping call, work starts after that call, so an order can be cancelled up to that point within the 7-day window.

If we decline an order, or a scoping conversation shows the package is not the right fit, we refund the full amount paid regardless of when that happens.

#Cancelling after work has started

Once work has started, a package cannot be cancelled for a full refund, because the time spent on it has already been committed. If you ask to cancel, we may — at our discretion — refund the unused portion of what you paid, less the value of the work completed to that point. We will tell you what has been completed and what we propose to refund before any refund is made. An agreed refund goes to the original payment method within 10 business days of our confirming it.

#Recurring plans

Where a package or plan is billed on a recurring basis, you can cancel at any time by telling us at support@cheffusiontech.com or admin@cheffusiontech.com, or through the client portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep the service until then and are not invoiced again. We do not refund part of a billing period. The 7-day cancellation right above applies to the first payment of a recurring plan if no work has started.

#Prepaid hour blocks

A Support Hours block can be cancelled for a full refund within 7 days of the order, provided no hours have been drawn down. After that, the terms under "Cancelling after work has started" apply to the unused hours. Unused hours expire twelve months after purchase, as stated on the package page, and are not refunded after they expire.

#Custom projects

Custom projects, time-and-materials work, retained capacity and support agreements are governed by the written agreement for that engagement, including its notice period and payment terms. This policy does not apply to them except where the agreement says it does.

#If something has gone wrong

If a package has not been delivered as described, tell us at support@cheffusiontech.com first; for a problem with an invoice, a payment or a refund, write to admin@cheffusiontech.com. We will acknowledge your message, look at what was ordered, what was delivered and what went wrong, tell you when to expect a full reply, and respond in writing. Most problems are resolved this way. If we cannot resolve a dispute between us, the governing law and jurisdiction provisions of our Terms of Service apply.

#Chargebacks

If you paid by card, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your card issuer. A chargeback removes the money before either side has had a chance to look at what happened, takes longer than a refund from us, and leaves the underlying question unanswered. Where we have agreed a refund, we pay it directly; you do not need a chargeback to receive it.

#Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the law that applies to you which cannot be excluded by agreement. If you are a consumer with statutory cancellation or refund rights, those rights apply in addition to this policy.
